Problem with drum toms

    the toms on the top of my bass drum ring out too much, i want a more thicker, solid sound, can i achieve it by puting something like a cloth or something in it? if not, please suggest some other way

    buy a drum pads ..........spd-20 roland...:)and stay happy no khich khich

    What kind of advice is that? If you have nothing useful to add, don't.

    Could you give me some more details (dimensions) on what mounted toms you are using? The sound depends on a variety of factors aside from the head you are using. The depth of the shell also affects the kind of sound you will get. Also the shell needs to be perfectly round to get the best sound. If you've handled your kit roughly, the shell could have gotten warped which dramatically alters the sound. I cannot help you out until you describe your equipment in greater detail.
