Problem in singing along while strumming patterns

I can play the chords for the songs seperately or sing along with a single strum of chords. But if i try to sing along while strumming the chords in a Pattern i am getting confused, I get screwed up between the song and the chord. Either the song gets messy or i loose the rythm

Can anybody help me with any tips to work it out Or any exercise.

 

The only exercise here is practice. First practice just changing the chords till you can do it blindfolded and while thinking about Mandira Bedi. Then try to start singing as you play.

u must learn to sing along while playing guitar, coz it help vry much and u will learn at faster rate, singing along playing surely improves guiatring..... so dpn't le
