Hi. I'm a total noob at guitars but i'm really eager to start. I want to go for an electric and was wondering what the price of a decent new or a good second hand would be. Also, can someone tell me the price of a Roland amp?
Indian Made you will find YEMAHA (not Yamaha), GIVSON (not Gibson), GIBTONE, TRUE TONE, CLASSIC, GRASON, TANSEN (am not so sure). These start from 3,000 RS. Then you have GB&A, Ashton, Java etc. starts from 5,000 Rs. Marshall Amps 3000 Rs (Starts), Stranger 1,800 RS (starts)
just wanted to know the price of roland (any 20W or less) and also the roland micro cube . And ur suggestions for a 15 W or less practice amp ( with or without effects) Sry didnt want to start a new thread unnecessarily Cheers
Hmm let me c When i purchased mine i went to all shops around Kolkata looking for all brands. To be very honest i cannot afford to buy a guitar with a price tag of even 5000. I choose a Givson Blue Diamond for 3,400 Rs. True Tone is manufactured by Bragenza, a local very famous guitar shop in kolkata. This shop has been in existance from the begnin of 1900's. You can get other Fender, Ibanez here which are in turn purchased from Furtados (mumbai). As long as i know these both shop owners below to the same community. Givson is a mass producers of guitars. Trust me they have a huge export list. Yemaha belongs to this company only but marketted in a diff brand.
Roland Micro Cube 5800 Beta Alvin Portable 4400 Roland 15 W 5500 Marshall 15W(DFX) 7000 n dude, selection of amps is dependant on your guitar a lot!!
+1 If u r a total noob n nt too sure abt pursuing the interest start up wid anything cheap... But an honest suggestion wud be to start up wid an acoustic.... no hassels, pure bliss... N a decent electric comes fr sumthing arnd 15k... But dats quite subjective, totally depends on hw much can u invest.
Good for a beginer. Wont go for stage performance. But a nice little package. You get a Drum Machine, Guitar Tuner, Preset Patches, 4 Banks for customization. I paid Rs 4,500 + Rs. 450 for Power Adapter
I've already got an acoustic. It's a hobner but it's really old and not great quality. It's giving me quite a lot of trouble. I thought that instead of investing in another acoustic go for an electric which is what i really want anyway.
