Posers who claim to be ROCK bands

i read your comments earlier about Creed how much they suck and how great Dave Grohl is....that comes from a guy who dosent listen to metal????

not being defensive just inquisitive

 

Dave Grohl is not metal (if you don't count his side project probot)! Dave Grohl is god!

..and the link the_wizard posted pretty much summed it up about the diff. genre's of metal.

I guess the metal I heard in Mumbai is enough for me to not listen to it.

Nirvana's sound was nowhere near metal. Foo Fighters early stuff could be compared to Nirvana but their newer stuff is more along the poppy side. I actually love the acoustic disc of In Your Honor better than the rock cd.

Maybe I'm just different. I'm the guy who goes to a metal show and shouts Creed! Just don't beat me up the next time..

What about bands who claim to be rock but in reality, are METAL?

 

linkin park gav me the platform to go to real metal & rock....and though i dun see them as my fav now,i still listen to them once in a while....new album of theirs is supposed to be out in spring 2006 according to my friend....now i listen to RATM and Iron Maiden and Megadeath and stuff but i still prefer to listen to indian and pakistani bands

Rap is much worse than spelling mistakes.........dont even start about it...doc says i need to keep my diastolic under control.
