Plz help : Video editor software

    hi ppl...plz help me ....

    i need a software thru which can edit videos..as in cut clips..save a part of a video file etc,etc,....plz can you suggest any software which i can download....if possible plz give a link ,..thanks :help:

    no no ...no still shots, i want to cut part of the video....the thing is that i am making a presentation,and i need a clip to play from a particular movie....

    ^^no way...that sucks....all quality goes away once you save it... :mad:
    and it takes a hell lot of time...

    well i havent explored all the ulead stuff but i did get some free software fom host and what i got was good..i would try it if i was you.....

    its either that or its Adobe Premier, i can't remember which one.

    i use studio 9.i got a pinnacle capture card(that captures video from camera (any) and stores via firewire.it is the best option for Rs8000-Rs10000(card +software)

    Yeah, I think it is Adobe Premiere; Audition is for audio.

    Try Ulead Video Studio... i found it very useful and easy..and of course no compromise on editing tools!

    thanks zoom....but its free trial itself is 173mb :shock: ....will take lot of time to download... :eek:: ...thanks anyways...will download when have time... :beer:

    ^ dude the VDO editor am talking about can do only cutting and combining VDO (and audio) clips - its installer is roughly 3-5 MB

    will fill in the deatils when i reach home
