whats photohosting actually?? how does photopucket and imageshack work??? i am looking for some (FREE) method in which i can upload pics to a certain location on the web and then link that pic to my blog. i dont want others to be able to delete the pic and i want the link to be permanent. Possible?? will any of the 2 sites i named serve the purpose or is there some other way??

alpha1 ty... but i want to know a few answers first. are they free? will the pics remain there for ever (or is there a time limit, like say 1 month) can anyone delete the pics or is it password protected? when i post the links of the pics, in a forum like this, will it look as if i have posted the pics in the forum itself? tyvm
They are free They will be removed after some time if noone acceses it For deletion, you will get another link No. IGT prohibits inline picture display, however, If you give the link: only the URL will be diplsyred. Clicking on the URL will take you to picture, nothing else on the browser. If you want the pics to reamain there "forever" open an account in flickr or sony imagestaion etc. - The only prob being only those who have an account there can view the pix.

after how many days is this erasing done?? on the other hand, if the pics are accessed regularly, then do they stay on??
@ jamhead - deanguitars userpics stays forever irrespective of the access by other users.... it gets categorised into Archives..... so no probs.... well atleAST till now.
I use photo bucket It gives unlimited spce, upon uploading the pics gives a URL to access it, others can view it if u give them the URL and no matter how long they dont delete the pics.
