Slide guitar perhaps? Change a couple of strings and you could do some good stuff with an open/alternate tuning.
Playing on the upper frets is darn difficult and wont it mess up my "skill" playing this slut ? Though i personally think it ll only improve once i get my hands on a virgin. This confusion is what led me to seek expert opinion. @alpha yours counts.
Honestly, I think you can play on it. While it's true that a bad instrument can cause damage, are you really that seriously into guitar that this might have a dramatic impact on your career? Judging by your guitar, I'd say probably not. However, I do recommend that you get a new one. Can't you just lower the action on this a little?
Thanks bjr. No i dont intend to make a carrer out of it and i cant lower the the action because the bridge is having an erection of sorts.
It does look scary but really not enough to damage your fingers badly....I really don't know if continuous playing for long hours might. Personally, I prefer a slightly high action....kinda like the tone there. I hate the really low action guitars....they're almost pansy-ish.
