ORIGINAL v/s COVERS

    i really like metallica's cover of "whiskey in the jar". original isnt by thin lizzy btw.

    joan baez's version of dylan's "forever young"
    pearl jam's version's of "last kiss" & "soldier of love" (by i dont know who. 1st one, 1964 next 1962)

    cant think of any more now :(

    I believe the Aces High cover was released on a compilation called 'A Tribute To The Beast'. I do not think it was ever released by a major record label.

    And by the way I want to clarify one thing.

    Children Of Bodom NEVER covered The Final Countdown

    The Final Countdown cover that is floating around on the Internet is wrongly labelled as a release by Children Of Bodom. That song was covered by a band called Norther who sound very similar to Children Of Bodom. You might want to check them out.

    The G3 covers
    Cradle of Filth - hallowed be thy name
    and saw a video which had dream theatre covering master of puppets. that one really rocked.
