Om Shanti Om - Main Agar Kahoon (Chords in Correct scale)

This is a beautiful romantic song from the movie "Om Shanti Om".
The song is in G#. Here is how I have found out the progression.

    Song: Main Agar Kahoon
    by: Sonu Nigam

    Fm---------------------------------
Tumko paya hai to jaise khoya hun
    --------------------------D#-------
Kahena chahun vi to tumse kiya kahun
    -------------G#-----D#-----G#-------
Kisi jaba mey vi, who labso hi nehi
    ---A#m----------------------C------
ke jin may tumho kiya tumhe bata saku

    Fm-------A#m--D#---Fm---
    may agar kahu, tumsa hasin
    Fm------C----Fm---------
    kayanat mein nehi hai kahi
    A#m---------
    tarif ye vi to
    ---------C------Fm--
    sach hai kuch vi nehi

    Fm------------------A#-----
    sokhiyo me dubi yeh aadayein
    Cm-----------------D#--

    C#-------------
    roop ki chandni

main aagar kahu, ke yeh dilkashi
hai nahi kahi, na hogi kabhi
    tarif ye vi to
    sach hai kuch vi nehi

    D#---------G#------
    tum huye.. maher baa
    -------D#----G#---
    to hai yeh daasta
    ----D#------G#--------A#m---
aab tumhara mera ek hai kaarba
    ----C---------Fm--
    tum jaha main uhan

    main aagar kahu,
    humsafar meri
    absaraa ho tum,
    yea koi pari
    tarif ye vi to
    sach hai kuch vi nehi

Please let me know your feedback on the progression. Your feedback is really important to me ..:p:

great work taquila...just one thing...try playing "Shokiyo main dubee yeh adaayeein" with a D# instead of A#...oh yea...and in the first line "Tum ko paaya" you can add a very very quick Cmaj chord...quickly followed by another Fm...awesome job!

Quasim and Aurobindo, Thanks for the feedback. But then where is my rep? :p:

Actually I thought I will put a Cmaj in the first line, but I was li'l confused.. moreover, while playing I was not able to make the transition smoothly.. I am li'l weak in rythm.. he.. he.. so I kept in simple. But this will obviously sound better. :)

hi guys the chords seems to be going out of sync, though it is correct at the starting point.

    Nice chords

Most of the chords are bang-on in the first post of this thread... with a few C major omissions... Very nice job.

Have reposted with a few additions (mostly prelude, interludes, etc.), and a few minor corrections (in bold)...

@Previous poster: The positioning is restored when you copy paste into note-pad with font=Courier New.

Doubt if A#m is the right one here.I think it is C#.The fact that it is also used in the interlude. The bass does not indicate the presence of any minor note..Just maybe it is C# and not A#m...

It's definitely A#m. Listen to the strings carefully. Although the bass may not suggest an A#m chord, the strings do suggest that.

The note which the singer touches when he sings "ke jin" is C# as pointed out by you, but the chord is definitely A#m.
