On this specified date....New Delhi saw the face of Terror...as we were about to celebrate the festival of lights 'Diwali'....there were so many families which lost the 'light' of their lives....forever... This is the first poem I wrote....there is one more which I'll be posting later on... A perfect weekend… That I thought is on, Relatives & cousins at my place, And we were laughing on & on. Humanity is safe, is what I had in my mind, Until we decided to switch the TV on, And at that bloody moment, I wished I should have gone blind Faces full of tears, Screams were the only sound Terror on everybody's face Blood was lying all over the ground My mind was boiling with anger Eyes were filled with tears And the Heart was shouting aloud Oh God! Are you Here??? [I might edit it going further]
I wouldn't like to comment on the piece because of the sentiments attached to it. Most of us feel the same way probably.
