I thought it would be awesome as a backing track on which you could really let loose and fly. Certainly very groovy. If you want this to stand by itself, I think you should work on varying your timing a bit...i.e.- variation in the places where you're starting and stopping in particular.

I was thinking on similar lines, like maybe you could cut out the backing portion somewhere in the middle, rock a solo and bridge back to the rhythm groove?
