use Cool Edit to record your songs and upload it to SoundClick.com...

i believe you need to buy or try cool edit, i havent tried it yet, but i guess you cant "save" your files in trial mode. if you want something free,
try audacity, its pretty decent s/w, and is open source ......
    https://audacity.sourceforge.net/
but i guess pro tools is the best, and i prefer it.

I use multiquence..from goldwave.com. Its the least complicated software out there and I recorded a lot using this software. Plug ur guitar+effects pedals into the mic-in port of ur compu and record.( U can check my recordings in the Indian Music Section)
Pro Tools is the best one but it required a min of 384 Mbs Ram, which I dont have.

i actually use audacity if i want to record and dump somethin quick..
    i have audacity for mac.
it does have multitracking.its eay to use and wont break ur head.
but if u want to record, mix and stuff then its not the best.
nuendo, cubase and all are a much better option....but u need to get a hang of it.
    my 2 bucks.
