I finally got my Tulsi this week... so here it is You can find pics here... The blac one is mine. The red one is a JS1000 copy, belongs to someone else. https://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/doubleclickboy/album?.dir=/980ascd&.src=ph&.tok=phqDD9EBPHmp3Mgp Its basically an Explorer copy, with 24 frets and a strat style tremolo. I wasnt expecting it to be this good. You have to play it to believe it.. This thing feels amazing. The neck is extremely smooth and fast. The only flaw in the guitar is the switch, it has a slightly stiff feel to it. A more comprehensive review will come as soon as I have time. Thanx a million to ronnieanand, alpha1, nebuchadnezzar and everyone else on this forum who recommended Tulsi.
Congrats!! Welcome to the Tulasi owner's club..and yeah, his necks are quite good and getting better with every guitar he makes..
the JS copy is nice................ and ur guitar ROCKS!! congrats!! does Mr.Tulsi make guitars for Delhi customers???
Nice guitar... I love the Black Widow style headstock you put on there!!! Gives the Firebird body an evil edge!!
LMFAO Not Jayanth. Hey DC, your axe looks uber-cool, so finally you went for a black colored Explorer. For a moment I though it was a Kelly (remember few months/weeks back we had a discussion on some shape thingy)
^^LOL I'm totally confused about which effects to get. So I decided to spend some more time researching and learnin about effects before buying. Maaan this guitar is AWESOME!!! I still cant believe how fast the neck is!!! If Tulsi opened a showroom in Bangalore, He'd be a millionare. The guitar cost 9700 + 1800 for the case. I spent the whole afternoon playin around with my friend's MG and I finally understood what ronnie was talking abt when he said MG's had good tone. I can get pretty much any type of tone I want (think Hendrix, AC/DC , most of the shreders and pretty close to Slash) by adjusting EQ, gain + playing with the Volume and tone pots on the guitar. Oh yeah... one more thing, the MG responds VERY well to the volume pot!!! On the OD channel I was playing at almst full volume and medium gain. I turned down the volume and BAM it sounds almost like I changed channels!!!!!! A cheap SS amp is not supposed to do that rite?
Hey, Care to elaborate which MG are you talking about (or what are you talking of)??? Would help a lot!!!
