Hi friends !!! i m really new to guitar & i don't know how to play. but i want to learn Guitar from very Beginning level so can any 1 teach me from very starting of guitar. i'll be thanful to u. Plz Plz help me.Plz give me Lessons which will guide me in right way. i have searched too many threads here & also many sites on web but i couldn't Understand them. so plz any 1 if u can help me.i m Waiting
1.learn to read tabs(there is a tutorial here) 2.get tabs for song for the forum of your choice 3.play them or if you want to play chords 1.learn a few chord(ie major chords C A G E D and minor chords Am Dm Em.........) u can google chord diagram or chart to get them 2.learn some easy progression (eg Am C G D) try to switch between these chord 3.when you can switch between these chord you can download chords of songs listed here and play them
@Strings_Fellow looks like u didnt get the advice i sent as a reply to ur pm. @ ambush he still has some time to learn all this he need to start from..guitar has 6 strings and the note which each of the six strings play and then the notes on fretboard. if u have to start from the scratch i think u shud go to an instructor and learn from him for a month or two and get ur basics clear the way to go...
hey strings_fellow, first of all u shold go for scales like C maj scale e------------------------- b-------------------0-1-- g--------------0-2------- d------0-2-3------------ a--3--------------------- e------------------------- which is nothing but saa, re, ga.... it will help u to learn to switch diff stringsand frets then u go for very simple tabs like happy birthday,some easy intros etc.. after some days try for diff tabs on th site one day ( wont believe that)u could play the rock stuff I took some 6 months best of luck
