Dont know if you guys are already using this.... but a new internet browser called Maxthon is pretty good. It's got a lot of utilities, etc. If you cant find it, just do a google on "Maxthon Browser" happy browsing jaimin

the onli (dis)advantange i can see is that it is built upon the IE engine ... for me that makes the prob worse ... for others it might make their life better ... coz IE does nor provide tabbed browsing ... i'lll stick to firefox or mozilla ... and for the damn websites (like my company website) that require Microsft products ... i still have IE on my comp ...
I wouldnt know if mozilla or firefox are better or same or worse than Maxthon, cause so far I've used IE only. As for Maxthon a couple of features that i liked were 1. the side-by-side opening of new windows under one roof, unlike IE where each window opened clogs up your taskbar space 2. there's RoboForm, which captures all your details for filling online forms and keeps it saved 3. a multiple search feature which searchs various engines like yahoo, google, etc 4. just by pressing one of the buttons, each link you click on, opens in a new window 5. a notepad like facility where you can copy paste text 6. A utilities manager where you can access quite a few of the utilities rather than going thru start --> accessories, etc... These were some of the things that i've been using since I downloaded it 8 days back & of course there are these smaller tib-bits which are user-friendly that makes surfing easier. so check it out for yerselves... jaimin
opera has problems with VBscript ... and flash modules many websites have both of 'em ... so u cant view those sites properly using opera ... hey i just noticed: maxthon does not have pop up blocker ... which makes it as ****ty as IE ...
:shock: hi ssslayer, maxthon does have a pop up blocker.... have you downloaded the regular version or the combo version which is about 4.4 MB. I sure can see a pop-up blocker on what i'm using!!!! :think:
Yes i 2...never faced problem with opera...manytimes malicous code can hack IE6 but not 2 opera .... atleast thats what i exp.
i think firefox is the best ............ the default version is bit slow...but once you configure it .IT ROCKS!!!!!
