Hi guys I'm learning to play an electric guitar I'm a beginner I want to buy one I have the option of buying a Kramer Focus 211s with floyd Rose or a Yamaha Pacifica 112 XJ I dont have much money and these two guitars fit my budget I want a guitar which i can use for a long time with no worries I'm more intrested in the Kramer because I have very small hands(really small-for example my index finger is hardlybe 2.7inches long) and the Kramer has a thinner neck but I really dont know which is the better guitar? Please help me out

Thx Thanks dude that's a really cool offer but I'm in pondicherry which is rather not soo close to delhi could you help me decide among these cos they are in my town and I have immediate access to them Could atleast tell me which is better and what are the pros and cons
Well I'm getting the Kramer second hand for 7k and the yamaha is actually a brand new one which just was part of a insurance haul in chennai i'm gettin that throught a friend in LIC Its brand new and has no problems The yamaha would be around 6k
The reviews for the pacifica are pretty good but those for the kramer are also good now I really dont know the technical stuff that much
Amazing man.. that's pretty low.. anyways I haven't played either.. but wat i think is low end Kramer will not be as good as the Yamaha 112.. I would have gone for Yamaha.. But don't take my words and ask some other guys here as well.. Wat are the prices in shops for these guitars? Did you enquired?
A new Kramer is around 12k(more expensive cos its not officially available in india) and a new yamaha is 10k(a little cheaper cos its officially available in india) technically the yamaha is around 200 to 300 dollars in the us and the kramer is also around 200-300 dollars Its really confusing which would be good
Yamaha 112 for 10k .. cool man.. Are you sure its a 112XJ only? coz i think cheapest yamaha is 012 which is some 12k.. Make sure u're not goin for the one that comes in a combo pack.. Can you gimme some shops numbers? btw in US yamaha 112XJ is expensive than Kramer 211s.. methinks..
yamaha for 10k is pacifica 012. 112 is for rs 15000 so i think pacifica 112 xj is more than the above..... i enquired a few days ago in bangalore yamaha store Check the specs.... mainly the body wood.... alder or agathis? that is the main difference yamaha pacifica with alder body is very very good in that budget... many will agree... Can't say anything about kramer.
Dude its a Pacifica 112XJ I'm getting it cheap cos it was part of a shop which had some insurance trouble I'm getting it through an NIC agent who's a friend that's why its cheap Thanks though for your advice will certainly consider it I'm still more in favor of the Kramer because a lot of forums say that the yamaha will not be able to deliver too well on stage during a live performance I really not very sure about htat but hte new mid range yamaha seems to be a good buy compared to the low end Kramer but i somehow am still in the favor of the Kramer more because of the brand premium Because Kramer is a more serious guitar brand compared to Yamaha(I feel is good with keyboards) But I'm no expert so am really not very sure I really need some professional help here
If you're into 'live performance', here's yer 'professional help' -> maybe you should be saving up for a better guitar, getting a better amp, and so on. The link in my signature may help.
well even i will say yamaha becoz low end kramers arent that gud and dont only consider brand name becoz u wont be babbling around with name of the brand if it sounds crap, u shud play the guitar which sounds gud rather than considering its look or just the brand name thing.... besides what yamaha is providing u in this budget is more than enough for u to start practicing & what u said about your fingers..... that they are small...lolz.... dont worry even a bit abt them my frnd , your hand will automatically get used to it.
See ultrabot90, most people don't want to learn how to fish, they just want the fish. Easier when someone else decides for you, you don't have to blame yourself if something goes wrong.
