Hi i m ganesh... i m from mumbai, india... i always thought that i want to buy guitar ...& learn it now as i m working ... i m can buy it my self now ... i was loking for acustic guiter in mumbai... my budget is very low... may be i can also go for 2nd hand ... but no knowladge how to identify that 2nd hand guiter is good condition or bad..... budget id 2500 Rs. to 3000 Rs. any 1 can help me out....
aah dont worry about the budget dude.... look....its better if you first collect some money and buy guitar later....so that you would get a good deal... I made the same mistake...i was in such a hurry to buy a guitar that i completely missed an Ibanez which was ONLY 2 thousand rupees more... but still if you want to... then....second hand (read used) guitars are good... just check for truss rod bends the bridge or scratches on the body and everything should be fine...try to look for a guitar with a more swollen hollow body which would reverberate the sound... and since you are a beginner...try to find a guitar with less action...so that you dont have to press hard to make notes ring and not buzz.... and if you are going for a new guitar... then you can get a good granada,hoffner or a hobner....below 3000.... you in Mumbai right....try Furtrados...just go in and say "Im a beginner and have 3000 in my pocket"...the guys there will pull out the best guitar for you... keep rocking...
First, learn to spell "Guitar" properly... Anyway, my suggestion to you would be to extend your budget just a little.
