O.k, so i was cleaning my acoustic yesterday and discovered that the neck is breaking away from the body. There is no change in the playability of the thing but is the neck gonna break away soon?? I got the guitar in mid-06 i think. it's a givson semi-electric, venus rosewood i think. i have 12 gauge installed and i know you ppl say w.t.f, 12ers on a givson but it's been an year now so i don't think the strings are the issue. where do i see the guitar 3 to 4 months from now?
Where is it breaking away from? Both sides or one side? Is there a change in the neck relief? Is it bowing more?
it breaking away from the body from the sides. That's the strange part, its not bowing, the sound is normal but the G-string goes out of tune more often.
