    Finally....

It's after ages and ages that i will be performing publicly. Its a big company event (retirements) and i am part of our company band. It's all going down tomorrow so will update you after that. Here are the songs we are performing...

    1> RESPECT - Aretha Franklin
2> Son of a Preacher Man - Dusty Springfield
3> Twist and Shout - Beatles
4> Messin' with the Kid - Blues Brothers
5> The Best is yet to come - Tony Bennett

Let me know if you need chords/solos/keys for the above songs.

    Thanks

Those are some odd song choices, I have heard all of them but that was a long time ago didn’t know people were still into it.

Well best of luck, record the performance and post it here if you can.

Messin with the kid is a blues.
Tony Bennet/Frank Sinatra song the best is yet to come has Jazz Progression
I don't know what genre to put the other songs in and yes twist and shout sounds just like la bamba.
