My New Guitar IBANEZ S540 Sabre ;-)

Atlast the hunt for the best is over. Its been 3 months since i have been hunting for a Guitar. Here is my new guitar finally.....Was gonna buy it on saturday but cudnt buy that day coz of heavy rains. But m happy that i didnt buy it on that day coz i got time to check out other Ibanez Guitars. Today went and checked out other S series Guitars(S470, S520) and RG1570. didnt find them as good as this one. Here are the Pix. check them out....

Got it for 33K.........Its a second hand Guitar...Hardly used.....u can make out from the pix........Its rocking man....i got it from a guy from mumbai........

Thx Bro.....Havent yet bout any Amp for it though...Will be buying a Roland MicroCube amp...... Played on the same amp ysterday at my friends place..sounded great.....

All Ibanez S540FM seem to have that.

 

yup all s540fm guitars have tht.. btw, how old is it...

 

He said he has used it for 6 months...But after looking at the tremelo arm it doesnt look as if he is been using it for 6 months. the black coating on it is coming out......
However the neck seems to be glossy(absolutely new) with no patches at all.....very smooth...
Gold coating seems to have faded on the tuners and on the side of the Pickups....and on the bridge as well........
It has got "QM" pickups. They seem to be in a good condition....
FretBoard is awesome...no Patches at all....all frets are proper.......

I guess i have got a good deal..........Wat do u guys say??

Any Idea on how much would a Brand New 1 cost???

 

ibanez dont make these anymore so we cant tell you the new price but such ebay for some prices.. youll get a rough idea..

 

Ya the Used Guitar price ranges from 350$ to 600$ whereas a brand New one costs around 1100$......

what tremelo does it have.. a licensed floyd or a zero resistence?

 

On the bridge its written "Licensed Under Floyd Rose Patents"......
It has Floyd Rose Locking Tremolo.....

 

Is this a problem wit my Guitar or the Amp.......??
Bought a Roland Micro Cube with Cosm Effects
When i turn the knob to Classical mode and then increase the Gain button(for increasing the volume) i get to hear lot of unwanted sound which comes when m not touching any of the strings
However if i slightly touch the strings the sound reduces.....
The moment i remove my hand and take it far away from the strings or pickups its produces unwanted sound.....
this happens only on Distortion and Classical mode...all other effects work properly.....
what to do ?? i hav noticed that even after touching my volume button the unwanted sound reduces a lot....
