@Jekyll: I have been playing professionally as a rhythm guitarist from the last four years and more. But I wouldn't call myself a 'pro'. Surely not I have been more active on the 'Indian' music scene

The 370DX is kinda made for Rock and Metal(the heavier stuff!).But with a change in pickups it will suit anything(Blues jazz whatever).
If you dont wanna change the pups then use the single coil and the bridge pickups(in parallel) and you get a crystal clear Clean tone.
