    Hey Guys!!
Is there any benefit in learning Music Theory if I need to play guitar chords? I can always refer to the chord chart and play them. Do I really need to understand Musical notations and theory related to it.
    Thanks

there are varying levels of difference in music theory, for the time being just start out with the basiscs which are chord theory, triads, scales and transposition. One by one you should improve your understanding of these items and soon enough you will realise the practice of the theory you would have just learnt.

    Very useful.

If you could copy and pass an examination, is it really required to ever study for it.
