I second the Rise album by anoushka, it has awesome fusion tracks with a great percussion track as well.
For the people who like their music on the heavy side TOOL, Dream Theater, C.O.B, Slayer, Metallica etc.
For those that want inspiration for guitar Jimi Hendrix Experience, Led Zeppelin are ideal.
Norah Jones is also great for chillout/jazz.
Wow children of bodom and norah jones in the same post, my music taste gets ever more varied.
