sorry man.......i guess ive had the foulest language in this post......: but just that i think that rape is one of the worst crimes against humanity.....it takes away ur slef estem....ur dignity.....it is the most depraved way to humiliate anyone.......which is why i cant stand it.......

I can't understand people writing the insane stuff they think the guy deserves. I am inclined to agree with 6string_addict abt their frustrations. Do you know how many women get raped in the world, or in India on an average? And how many of them are minors? and how many of them are critically wounded int eh process?
Looking at one case and venting frustrations on the internet using foul language (which I must mention, is cleverly scripted to pass the censors) and using angry smilies does nothing more than vent your own frustrations.

I agree ananth that there r lots of rapes in India and elsewhere in world...but this one was by a policeman man....i don't know how many times that happens ......
I heard they took out the chowky.....people r saying they're destroying the evidence......

 

indian police are of no good other than for their world famous round and outstanding stomach and rape records to name most of them.

 

i agree with erindi... this rape was by a policeman who was drunk on duty as well, and thats why there is such a huge outcry
certainly, rape is one of the worst crimes against humanity, but the fact remains that even if this guy is sentenced to all the punishments menitioned above, it will only serve to satisfy the people's immidiate anger and nothing else

 

i dont agree to that..the part of satisfying peoples anger...the reason the no. of rapes are so high is coz people are not afraid.......i say....sever this guy's genitals...the root cause of all the havoc........and air it on national televison.....at least create a terror in the minds of people against rape.....at least the next time anyone thinks of doing such a thing....he should have to give it a second and a third and umpteen more thoughts before going through with it.....

agreed, many females all over the world get raped...minors too....but us keeping quiet over it ...keeping mum over it aint helping...the things i said i mean them literally....as "insane" as they might sound....those are according to me the solutions........
i had seen a video of a rapist being punished by the public amputation of his genitals under no LA..........with the victim over seeing this........this was somewhere in the middle east.....which is y the rate of crime of any kind is so low there...people know of the horrific punishemnts they could get should they commit a horrific crime......yea some of the punishments are against human rights but a person who has no respect for others human rights..doesnt need any consideration towards his own......

Not keep quiet? Five years from today, when this event is recalled, will you proudly think to yourself "I condemned this incident aggressively, using angry smilies, on a guitar tab forum"?
This is the kind of thing people are satisfied doing. If any of you were present when it occured, I don't know how many of you would have the courage and concern to interfere and stop such a thing.
The only thing screaming on a forum achieves is to appease ur anger for a minute.
And severe punishments don't prevent crimes. They just exhibit the brutality inherent in all human minds. brutality is not good no matter which side of the law it is in.
Think about rebuilding the confidence of woemn in India, rebuilding the confidence of the people in the police, and building basic human decency and courtesy in everybody, instead of gun for one mans head.

 

india is ***ually repressed. thats why these kind of rapes happen. india needs a ***ual revolution.. so that rapes are replaced by casual ***... and... date rapes like here in in the US

 

rebuild the confidence in police???? that isnt about to happen....not with self righteous cops who think they are the last word on everything....when the police turns into the moral police instead of stopping crime...when people smooching on parks becomes a bigger issue for the cops than cops raping minors..........
onething which pisses me off all the more is......the lack of any kind of remorse in that guy...he was smiling for the mid day pic............
and the basic decency isnt gonna come for a long time to come....until then military law it is
