Haha, good one... But jayanth and I have reasons. We were on the experimenting team with the store thing and tried out some new things which led to a decrease in reputation.
but i do badly need some points now... my theft failed (that yet doesn't come in the way of my distinguished reputation though).. someone care to donate me some?
Well... ya, we are forgetting a lot of people. But we cannot hope to include everyone in one single poll.
man i believe to pick slash but i had a hard time. I didnt choose my fav. Even though i Love GUNS N ROSES, i was also aiming for Tom Morello. @ Tejas Hey those solos from Tom are amazing. Solo from Bombtrack is awesome!!
incomplete list that list is not complete. Whatever happened to Yngwie Malmsteen? He practically created "shred". And his 'neoclassical" style is easily recognizable.
Recognisable: -Karl Sanders - Fredrik Thordendal - The jesu guy (whats his name justin _______?) - The deftones guitarist - Buckethead
^Yesh, he's very recognisable. Especially as a guitarist. Did you know: Fred Durst Plays guitar. Justin K Broadrick
the guy who is most recognizable say if some1 came upto you and played a song and asked u who played it ,it has to be ..hands down...yngwie malsteen .. all his songs sound very similiar and when he does tht A minor scale run ..which is present in al his songs ...u wil know its him ..and besides ..none of his songs are slow !!!!!!!>....hypershreddin at its best
I agree, Malmsteen. I should add recent days Malmsteen. He plays only two runs: ascending A harmonic minor and descending A harmonic minor. You should chcekc out the G3 live. Man I have his early days recordings, he used to be such a brilliant guitarist (with such a varied playing). What has happened to him now?
