    Thats really sad!!!!

    death_metal_fan oh goody, it's a woody!

This is terrible news. Lopez was largely responsible for Opeth's heaviness (just listen to Deliverance). I hope Axenrot can fill his shoes.

^ he was ok in the concert. The ending of Deliverance was kind of slow.

And why is this surprising/sad? Wasnt this news that was a few months (half a year) old? :?

And as much as i like his drumming ( a LOT), i wont be surprised if he;s in deep trouble in the next 10 years. His cocaine addiction is NOT good.

It is sad, but not all that surprising. He's an awesome drummer. No idea how Axenrot is. Hope hes good.

Dont you think a perfect replacement for martin would be sean reinert? He'd be the percfect candidate instead of axenrot IMO.
