(Marathi) shraavan....the monsoon..

as u people digested my all poems here pretty well till now.. i thought of posting something in marathi...(as many marathi people in this forum)
this is my marathi poem written in schooldays... wen i was translating it in english..i found out, the translation has some poetic element too.. so posting here two poems..
marathi n english....
these r just some some observations of the nature in rainy season..

shraavan...

meghkinaar chanderi kashi khule ya nabhaat
kuni kajal bharle, mala saanga ya meghaant

aasmanta.at bharun olya mati.cha sugandh
taya spardhati hi fule, vaas tayan.cha.hi dhund

chakaakati paanan var.che, shubhra parya.sam dav
ka haluch pahaate, zaala amrut varshaav

khole gupit kirne, surya meghan.madhye dade..
garjnaara ha samudra, seema kinaryachi tode..

mojato mor dhund, rang pisarya.che sare
janu chitrakar dev, rang srushtit ya bhare

pawala ganik khalale, shubhra panya.che ohol..
mule mansokt nhali, uthe khodyan.che mohol..

kadhi sardi kadhi shinkaa, kadhi hud-hudi bhari
mag aaichya kushit, yeyi maayela ho sari..

kuthe garam ya bhajya, kuthe samose he khaas
kuthe garam chaha.cha, mast karnaara vaas

shwasa-shwasat gunfali, krishn.varni sandhy.kal
ekaa chatrit doghan.chya, prem shabd don-char

dur dukhnan.che dongar, sarvaan sukhachi.ch aas
ghara-gharat paghale, janu chaitanya.chi raas

nahi bhed-bhav kuthe, aahe shravan sarvancha
nana tarha pratyeka.chya, ghya.ya harsh shravanacha

jal-dhara varshavaat, koni bhijun ho trupt
jal nayani bharuni, chataka pramane mukt

dara-aaduna.ch paahe, koni mazya.ch saarakhe
shabd fule gumfuni.ya, shravanaas ya paarkhe..

the monsoon..

i wonder who painted this sky.. so radiant n so shining..
to clouds... who made this awesome silver lining..

why the scent of wet mud is making heart to stop beats..
to which fragrance of the flowers, desperatey competes..

those sparkling mercury dew-drops, kissing the leaves..
sweet shower of the rain, burns of earth when it relieves..

sun-rays..peeping through the clouds.. disclosing secrets of the sun..
crossing limits of the shores, naughty ocean in its turn..

endless efforts to count, magnificent colours of the nature..
dumbfolded and speechless.. to see all wizards by creator..

every step, every corner filled wit moisture,water running like a child..
and the joys of the children, for all reasons to get spoiled..

when some sneeze, some cold, reaches at its peak..
then the warmth of the hug, from the mommy they could seek..

hot aroma of the tea, tingling nerves of the brain..
as fresh as it is.. all strain it could drain..

evenings filled with romance, and love in the air..
in single umbrella, some feelings, a couple could share..

surpaasing mountains of the sorrows,here comes monsoon
enlightning every altitude n longitude, from sun to the moon..

no discrimination.. lusture of happiness spread everywhere..
monsoon is for everyone.. to share and to care..

different person, diffrent styles, to enjoy this season..
some1 busy to search for shelter, some1 will dance in rain without reason..

someone like me, will just observe, standing behind the door..
capturing meaning of monsoon, and in words if i could pour..

frankly nimi.....the remix version( what i say the translation version) is altogether of differnt class..u scored high in marathi then in english............the aroma was sweet and sour in english...but overall rocking in original theme...........ur approach in minute details are fantastic and quite captivating...english translation has gone off the track sometimes....good try to do the translation then to be done justice by others and kill the description......


u deserve the applauds for your creation in style.....more to expect from your imagination

bahut likhaa hai yaar...i feel thts a attempt which needs reps...(though i still dont undrestand this funda of rep:-D ) ...last two lines r best .....shows who u r.......ek advice deta hoon ..free main...haha EIther just imagine too much and write too much or imagine too too much and rewrite the same line (different ways).........vo muahhh vala complement jo avtar ko diya tha vo mujhe bhi mile-ga kyaa
