Man charged with stealing Wi-Fi signals

    wtf is that an offense?
    there was an ******* above my apartment who CUT my cable wire and stole my WIRED internet... what abt him then???

    dude - not really - normaly all ud ahve to do is ask ur neighbur if ucan use it too - normally no one objects...

    But how can he use ur Internet connection, He cant use ur connect untill he know ur IP address, username and password, given by ur Internet Provider!!!!

    I did.
    Infact it was the ISP who found out. My internet stopped working, and they traced the wire up to the apartment above and found that they'd cut it. There was a neat cut exposing the wire inside, from where they stole the connection.
    They were just warned, no action taken. I doubt if these things can be a serious offense.
