I'm planning to buy a Gibson Les Paul Jr. Billie Joe sig by the next month, but the thing is, I'm buying it here in India, and need to get it set up. All my other guitars were bought in London and got them set up (action, intonation, fretboard clean-up, bone nut) in London. But now I need to know if there is any place in Mumbai that would do the same for me? Thank you.
try Peter Periera's shop @ Thane. Its bang opposite Brahman Vidyalaya. Peter is long dead, but his son Johnny mans the store. Their repute is very good. I lost the landline no. i had....but if u`re close by, drop by & get a quote. I`ve got work done earlier...and therez no complain. Try Bhargava at Bandra - I needed a luthier & though they dont do such wrk, they said they cud get it done thru a luthier & give....so if u wanna save the THANE headache, give it to them maybe?
