I have seen so many threads in IGT and so many poets that express many things about love.. Love is this.. Love is that and blah blah.. But do u think LOOKS matter when it comes to love.. ???? Can u love a Langoor ??? ( means monkey)


Does love need physical attraction?? if so then how is it different from Lust ???

looks matter... anyday

 

I think you have the thought of the year here Vishwa. This is the topic i have been pondering upon since long. I dont know if my idea is perfectly right or what, but till today i have come to this conclusion.

Yes looks DO matter in love. For the explanation, you need to think what exactly IS love? Salman Khan saw Kareena, fell for her, and poof! its love.... Its the most miserable theme i have ever imagined. Love is so damn misunderstood due to mis-interpretation in the media, that ppl think love is what an actor says in a movie. No the hell its not! LOVE IS AN ADVANCED FORM OF LIKING. You see something, you like it. You keep observing it, and you fall in love with it. And you fall in love with many things simultaneously. Only the domain is different. Like in music, each note has different sound. But still it is music. You love ur gf/bf, u love ur mom, dad, siblings, friends, etc. In some of these cases, lust might have played a role, but in some, there is not a gist of lust. Therez nothing but pure love. Thats the delicate difference we need to understand.

And as far as loving a langoor is concerned, if you like it too much, you can call it love. I love my dog. You might love a langoor.. its alright. You see love has many flavors. We just dont see them. Love is usually coupled with lust when we think of it. But in reality its very different. Therez a fine, thin line b/w lust and love. Hope u understood my babble..... I voted for the second option...no ...cos if u fall in love cos of looks...then u can neva love a person in life ....as we keep on meeting people who r better luking than the person we have in our live...but we cant keep changing our prefrences,,,,aftr all stability is 'somethng'

Some may agree with you :beer: If love is in **** movies, then yes; it does matter. "beauty" in real terms is just saying that youre healthy and have a good immune system. And if you think that make up makes a person more "beautiful", well.........
and also "beauttiful" people a lot of times, tend to use and abuse their looks which cancels out the attraction in my case......
And i say the same thing as garima

looks dont matter...its better to find someone with a beautiful mind..and then their evrything else becomes beautiful in your eyes...

some people who "LOOK LIKE A LANGOOR"(which i think no one does) could be the sweetest people on earth...and some people who are "GOOD LOOKING" are the REAL "LANGOORS"...hopping love partners...just like langoors hop from branch to branch...

 

I'm disgusted into this.... People using their looks.....etc.

Atleast for me, if i see a beautiful girl, i would want to screw her and thats it. If thats called love then yes.

 

i do think looks matter too but definitely not the important one.......if one has a beautiful mind and has the mind to care about u, hey, i am on it..............who cares about the look then........as far as i am concerned, nobody looks like a langoor so that problem is not rising.......everyone has their beauty..........it is the way how u approach their beauty.......some find it good, some don't......
