Lost Bands or Lost Thoughts !!

Throughout my life till now...i have seen & heard of so so many BANDS whose songs are well ahead than famous...but still their names/entities are not-known/forgotten...this is sad from my point of view....Guys plz do listen to them...they are good....i mean it.....

1) ABBA (Modern people have almost forgotten the name!)

2) Modern Talking....(Remember Brother Louis/Cheri Cheri Lady ?)

3) The Wonders...(That thing you do!)

4) Firehouse...(I live my life for you!)

5) Genesis....(Phil Collins anyone ??)

6) WHAM....(George Michael-Careless whisper/last christmas)

7) Chicago....(You're the Inspiration!)

8) England Dan & John Ford Coley....(Nights are forever without You !)

9) The Bright Brothers....( Dreams !!)

10) London Boys....(Basically a Hip-Hop Band...Dance Album)

11) Roxette....(The Look !!)

12) Duran Duran....(Rio....Come Undone !!)

13) Sigma 6....(Guess who were they????....Later known as Pink Floyd !!!!)

14) Collective Soul....(Shine !!)

15) The Carpentars

16) Poison

17) The WHO

18) Dave Mathews Band

19) Def Leppard (Hysteria....though people still know/listen to them till now frequently..but loosing their ground fast!!)

20) Jethro Tull....(Aqualung...many will argue..but i've seen many who dont even know the name!!)

21) The Venturers (Guitar Guru's)

22) The Shooting Stars...(Moonbeam !! Instrumental band.)

23) Soundgarden

24) Megadeth

25) INXS

26) Prodigy

27) Deep Blue something...(Breakfast at Tiffany's.....very recent band.)

28) The Righteners.....(All fade to Black!!)

29) Cream....(The best blues rock band ever)

30) Tears for Fears.......

And many many more..........................Hopefully we would be able to let live the names of this bands by ourselves while listening....!!!

who says these bands r forgotten. Man u r absolutely wrong...they were the chart toppers when they were released..and by the way the look by roxette is a favourite by many indian bands...they usually play it at college levels...At least i luv it.

I beg to differ at least for these bands.
Duran Duran's new album Astronaut is a chartbuster worldwide. It sold quite a number of copies even from the Park St MusicWorld.
DMB is always quite popular here... from Crash to Everyday. Though I think their latest one hasn't gone into cassette format yet.
INXS? my bad, they are now getting their new lead singer through a fabulous and famous audition-cum-TV show (Star World Tue-Thurs 9 pm) and they are forgotten? The show is a hit, man.

 

and what about megadeth, jethro tull and def leppard? you want to call then forgotten???
