looking for an amp max cost 2500 - 2750 rupees

I am looking for an amp max cost 2500-2750.
Anything but that Stranger piece of crap.

Any MG will do or even a Behringer.
Built in overdrive would be awesome too.

If any of you guys have something like that for sale or know someone who does, then let me know please.

 

go to cliffys if ur in bombay - hell fix u up with a second hand amp for about that much...

 

well dude strangers aint crappy --im tellin u coz i own one --well just that they r too "trebly" ---so u cud set lower treb higher bass and med mid ----all i mean is with tone adjustment they sound perfectly fine dude

Strangers are what I call tone suckers. They will take your guitar's natural tone and really make it sound bad

 

hey dude Marshall MG10CD ... is priced around 3.5K ... u can stretch your bdget a little ...

but ya know the best will be ... fabricate your own amplifier ... u can fit Op Amp, or transistor or triode/pentode ... as per your wish of the sound tone ... and it can be done ... coz at college we did it ... we used an Op Amp ... and used a clipping diode circuit ...
so we could get both clean tone and fuzz tone ... no bass/mid/treble control ... was really a crude unit ... but the hitch is u'll have to take an external speaker set ... coz that is something u cannot fabricate (or mebbe u cud

Stranger vis-a-vis Marshall (i have MG10CD - is supposed to have the crapmost marshall sound in both clean and dirty channels) ...
Marshall wins hands down ... there is no doubt about it ...

 

i just came to know that Marshall also manufactures very small amp/speaker sets ... check their site out ...

whoever says that strangers arent crappy - god - try out another amp pls.. ur embaressing me....

strangers suck!!! i own one... i keep getting static, then i kick it - then the static subsides.. then again it will come back later... worst of all - the volume contyrol on mine is ruined... i play on volume 0.... (no its not new - its obviously been used for a while - its a year and a half old.. but still - its rteally bad)

cheap amp

well buddy to start off if u wanna improve ur old amp go for additional speaker cabinets, or replace the old one with a costlier one.
if u wanna change ur rig well at that price only quality prod u will get is a yamaha 10 watt cube.
whatever choise is ur's

 

btw - throguh some miracle my amp works again - i own a rare marvel - a stranger that works!
