umm..was i supposed to laugh?? if i may explain...people who love rain..well some of em .. you'll never find em inside their houses in the rain.. plus talking about this girl...she associates rain with memories.. plus it a route to escape too.. imagine youself ..gazing outside at the rain..sittin in the window ..and crying...your mom comes..and asks why are you crying..what would you tell her??? mom..nthin i jus was rememberin my girl..ilove her..??? i am sure you can't do that..soo
While starting I felt this poem was about street urchins / beggars. But when the home aspect came in ... I realized that I was wrong, I didn't know who the real subject is.

If the girl loves rain, she won't be sad because of it - unless she loves being sad! (Yes some ppl are like that). If the girl is sad because the rain reminds her of something bad/sad/lost then she is not really a rain lover. Its just that the rain serves to trigger something in her mind. So Nandy, what are you?

Thats exactly what I said. The rain serves as a trigger for past memories - and hence the tears. If you really enjoy the rain for the rain (and nothing else like memories) then you wont cry.
Well...for lines with pretty straight-forward meaning, that was a huge discussion. I lost it somewhere in the third comment or so. Overall, the lines seem strong, and good selection. Though i can't imagine rains. It seems to have stopped raining since i took to the seas..
