Nice song. Have been playing the song since quite some time. As per the tabs below, Madhura, I guess the chords would be a whole note up.
i.e. C -> D
F -> G
C7 -> D7 ?????
G7 -> F7 ?????

I'm assuming the chords you've mentioned are right. ). Well, why I'm saying this is because, I tried the chords and they somehow don't sound right. Please don't mind, but I think they are different. I'm not too good when it comes to finding the right chords. But I'll try and see.

i still am not about the 'key' though .....
but my chords can be transcribed ( m i using this word right?) as follows .....

correct me if i am wrong ......( i believe i am right though)
J was suggesting to replace F by Fm, if so .... replace similarly for playing in D or G key .....

I had tried something similar...but after playing this...I think I was playing a simplified version...Still no way to know if I'm right cause i don't have the audio for this song...so i can't check it with that...Till now ,I had been playing it like the way i remembered it in my head.

A word about key to everyone. Well play it in a key suiting ur voice. Don't worry about the original song key. The sequence should be right and u should be able 2 play the chords with ease. Don't worry about tech complications of playing fancy chords. Remember the best songs in Hindi and English are the ones with simplicity. Can someone pse tab pal "pal dil ke pass tum raheti ho" or is it already available elsewhere. I m new here and new to hindi songs. Love u all

@lodhra Good substitution lyrics!.U can be a good song writer. One small tech issue with chords u used. This appears in the key of F. The F major scale has the following notes. F G A Bb C D E F. Since there is already an A note present the next note will be called a Bb instead of A#. So the chords would be F Bb... etc.. Cheers 2 you

Good Effort! Try C7 instead of C. All u gotta do is just transpose the chords posted by Madhura to your Key

 

Vocal keys aside, the original is in G major. Chord sequences pretty much the same in all verses an go G/D/C7/G. C7 is important to give it the R&R vibe.
