hey man im sorry... my intention wasnt t copy u.. i didnt no ur post was there... abt the lead.. ya ure rite i prefer ur version t mine.. thnx .. biee also Am5 is Am+5... it does exist
so wont that be written as Am/+5 and isnt that F then? not blamin u for copyin man..justbecomes difficult for people to search stuff when u have repeat theads :
@sukrit - Am5 is not Am/5+ - read below @all: wat are you talking about Am5 - if it includes A, the minor 3rd and the perfect 5th - tis known as Am.... if it doesnt include the minor 3rd - its A5 - now a fifth chord doesnt have a minor or major tonal note included in it - thus the chord u are looking for is an A5 -, theres nothing like an Am/+5 (thats basically a minor chord with a sharpened 5th - its not one of the 4 triads - hence the chord becomes known as a Fmajor with a bass note of A or F/A) -btw - in the verse riff - its not 5th chords but in fact G Major, D major and C major the dylan version alternates between Am and C amjor as the alst chord in each line also: heaven is spelled with an e not heavin. verse: e||-------3-------------2-0-------| B||--3------3---3-----3-----3---3-| G||--0--------0-----2---------2---| D||--0------------0---------------| A||-------------------------------| E||--3----------------------------| e||----------------0-----------------|| B||----------1-----------1-----------|| G||--0-----0---0-------0---0-0-----0-|| D||--0h2---------2---2-------0h2-----|| A||------3-----------------------3---|| E||----------------------------------|| thats it - soory i didnt put t all on one line but i was in no mood...
oh ya - the chorus is palyed with dist. and thats G5, D5, C5. the first solo has the verse riff palying in the background - the 2nd solo has the ditortion chorus riff playing in the background
dude wht u posted was the intro not the verse ....its there man........ the verses are G5 Am C and G5 D C arpeggiated Btw there is a Am/+5 the second solo has that cool thing with the muting....G5 D5 ans C5..ultimately cool .....which continues evern after the solo
sorry dr saurah - u were right abt. it being a G5 - read my tabs - i realsied now that i never really alyed the major 3rd even though i held it as aprt of the chord- i mean while picknig the notes- u jsut hold a G major... secondly - thats not jsut the intro - the riff contineus for all verse parts and the chords are aplyed for the 1st solo - and yes - the dist. part is basically G5, D5 and C5 - as i already emntioned so thers no point saying that im wrong and then repeating wat i said. again about the Am/5+ - that never entyers this song - thats never known by that name because its jsut musicalyl wrong to call a chord an Am/5+ for the reasons i jsut gave above - its known as a F/A besdies thers no Am in the gnr version - i just sat and heard the song a million times again - its all C maj.... im 100% sure of all of this - its all accurate
