Umeed pe duniya kayam hai : Anyways... this is the doha for the day... Maya Mari Na Man Mara, Mar Mar Gaye Shareer Asha Trishna Na Mari, Keh Gaye Das Kabir Translation: Neither this illusory appearance (maya) world is dead nor the mind, but only bodies died. Kabir said, the desires and wants did not die. I think what he tries to say is that we humans believe that this transient world as our true life & get entangled in the various emotions till our very end, forgetting our true self. In the end, this pershable body dies, but the unfulfilled desires remain with our souls and that makes us take birth after birth.
ye duniya umeed pe nahi, un logon pe kayam hai jinhe aise umeed hai... in short, its a compliment for you... all the best @kgf
hey sorry about not starting kabira doha regularly.. i was out of town.. and where i was there was no internet.. i think kabira might have said.. chalta phirta main gaya, pahooncha aise gaaanv. na mila internet mujhe, rah gaye baki sab kaaam. well about maya mari na man marra.. jo chaha woh mil gaya, dil phir bhi mange more, na jane kab man jagega, dil hoga trishna mukt. i am really tired after long trip .. so thought i would just write a couplet to show my thoughts about doha..
