Justice Prevails!

11 years of struggle, and finally justice. I personally feel capital punishment isint really fair, the culprit suffers for a few mins compared to the agony that the family of priyadarshini mattoo might have gone through.how else can a culprit like this be punished?

Also, given that the main reason for a verdict coming out in this case is the push by the residents of delhi. It is a nice change from the "chalta hai attitude". Delhi which has become the rape capital of india...really needed this to shake the justice system. Power of common man still exists. wht do u guys feel?

and as far as the capital punishment is concerned....i thnk we need to cut the roots of criminal activities ASAP cant wait to torture them for years...as India being the most corrupted country...the more 'time' such ppl will get the more plans there wud be to tk them out...by hook or by crook...
we all know the Kandhar Hijack case tht was just to set the terrorist Azhar Mehmood(i hope i remember the name correctly) free...& then we had to set him free...so i think its better to SHUT the case once the alligations are proved to be true....

Capital Punishment is supposed to be a deterrent, but it has failed to be one.

 

Rape is quite a natural thing just as craving for food, cos man is basically another animal.

To protect innocents and weak ones we have family, religion, country, police and all sorts groupings. That alone won't help cos they all go corrupt. That's why every society needs a culture for stability. We're losing ours, running after western culture blindly. Let education start from each home.

Females also feature in p0rn movies, act wearing noodles clothes in movies. Think of Mandira Bedi covering cricket with noodles blouse. Or our lady tennis stars in action. Don't expect rapes rates to decline then. Same applies to men too. But females are naturally vulnerable to rape being physically weaker. Men are raped less cos many females are afraid to do that.

Capital punishment is a more nonsense than rape. Women raped and killed is as serious flaw of social structure as jawans brutally killed in war.

I wonder family of Matoo be happy if Capital Punishment is carried on. That man also has a wife and daughter as i read in newspaper. I'd say hold him in Jail. And everybody ensure on their own that such incidents don't happen again.

 

Let the victim's family decide what shud be done to the accuse....let the world be outta it

Why do ppl accompany young bro or sis to say railway station, especially if he/she is to travel at night? PPl don't take even half precaution for a grown up bro. In our country.. why do we have ladies compartments? why do some women get up and go in groups to toilet in public places say when a movie is running.
Why do movies add rape of Madhuri/zeenat etc etc. To make us cry? think?? why do government show "kuch bhool gaya" condom Ad with right settings?? Why not government close down such places. Why not censor board remove all rape scenes. Why Asoka;s lover Karina is always wet? Accept that some corruption exist in society. A developed country might have lesser rate of rape events, because police is more vigil, mechanism is more efficient. But even then rape still exists. Even Tyson rapes. In a country like ours where police is under corrupt politicians generally, I don't think an ordinary policeman will dare to initiate action if he watches a rape in a luxury car. he never knows it is some VIP. A policeman is after all another human being struggling to make a living. Let parents educate children the reality, cos social system fails.

A teenager boy coming out of a theatre watching a BS bolly actress might end up disturbing some decent poor girl in a crowded bus or train. Whom do u blame first? Capital punishment is not even natural. Executing it is even more lack of civilization than an event of rape. Does someone about to rape go through all preceding court orders before a rape? How can punishments like that curb it. If the accused is potentially dangerous you can hold him jail. In a society having better culture/civilization rapes will be minimal. Because only cultural refinement not rules can set things right. It starts at home. I don't wonder at news of girls getting raped looted and killed in Bangalore.
