I went to a G3 show and was totalyl blown away. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Then I realized it was cos each guy played for 30-35 mins and played nice songs. I went to a vai concert later and it really sucked. he was just loud and repetetive. he played a few songs which were good. 5k is really not worth it. besides, just cos he can do something I can't doesn't mean I must pay money to watch the nonsense. I'd much rather pay to watch something I CAN do and I'd ENJOY doing.
sorry man....its not that marty wanted to become a blues guitarist.. he is very exotic in his phrasing..and tho he might play blues ..thats not the reason for him to leave megadeth..he has his his own style ..
which one? the one which featured eric johnson? that was cool.. very cool.. I agree G3 offers more variety and has more entertainment value than the solo acts themselves..
its a three day trip for satch in india, including mumbai, kolkata and bangalore. and the ensemble ; satch + stu hamm + jeff campitelli is JUST AWESOME. its an unforgettable experience watching them live.
i've seen them all these guys just get their sound engineers mostly its roger's (drego) equipment and by the way he has some real good stuff that matches world standards. i'm gonna be in the Mumbai concert for SATCH-BABA. And again VH1 is doing it!!! so again I get ALL ACCESS YIPPY!!!

Joe Satriani In India. Hi Guys, You people figure this out quite wrong. Its high time you people keep the rock n roll faith in india climbing higer and not going down. Cause rock n roll is forever. Yes Joe Satriani is coming to india. He will be performing at Mumbai MMRDA. Banglore palace grounds and kolkatta. So dont take this for granted. The prices will be reasonable 800 and upwards although it was planned to be at a mimimum of RS 2000 and upwards.
hey check out the new thread on satch in india there the price quoted is frm 500 .this one is quite old.
