Aaah... From my island home I feel a chance To kiss the tired ghosts of time and circumstance Aaah... So give me peace of mind and let me dance And bury all my pain and years beneath the sand Aaah... Wah Wah.... On my heel these wings I gladly bear And laugh into the face of anger and despair, Oh ho ho Wah Wah... So give me peace of mind and let me dance And bury all my pain and years beneath the sand Wah Wah...
hey, im just trying to find out what the egyptian/ (arabic?) lyrics to this song are. is that " the words of a banished king, i swear revenge" etc . that is written here? just checking cos its pretty different from the english in the song, almost like it should be a compleatly dfferent song. the mood of the song is uplifting and spititual, even says "laugh in the face of anger" then if i understand correctly the egyptian singers say "filled with anger aflamed our hearts" a bit contradictory. if those really are the egyptian lyrics i wonder if Robert plant and jimmy page ever stopped to ask them what they were singing about or just thought it sounded cool? i wonder if it is a traditional song or something?
