Who all are turning up there?
Ofcourse I am.
man u're in bangalore ?i hav my exams and i'm not much of a jethro tull fan.
I have only listened to Aqualung.
Though I have a CD having 3-4 of their albums. guess I should do a preliminary listening to 'em.
i had there songs.but not now,i suppose its quite boring.
It is more like folk rock.
Not a big fan of folk
darn...one of my favourite bands and yet again its not in Delhi...kismat hi kharab hai.
Could someone be kind enough to record a bootleg of the show.
its a lill different from ur run of the mill rock songs, for starters check out Thick as A Brick, Aqualung, Locomotive Breath
when is the show??? can you supply a link and tell who the organisers are??
and will it only be in bangalorruu??
those who are skeptical about tull shoudl check out, " a little live music"
seriously, Ian Anderson is enough reason to go to the show....try checking out the Aqualung live video to know what I mean
Tull is freakin awesome. Definitely going to be there. Badly want to listen to "Up To Me" and "Locomotive Breath" live.
And BUNGLE IN THE JUNGLE is a beautiful song...... must listen LIVE........
love j-Tull ..... songs like 'Too Old To Rock And Roll...' , 'Cross Eyed mary' , 'Locomotive ', Thik as a brick ...... they r in a class of their own .... want to go desperately ... but not sure if I will get a day off from office ..... :aggre:
Aint it in the evening?
I bought tickets yesterday. Got only the Rs.600 one. The good thing is I got a Aqualung LIVE CD as a complement. Heard the album today morning and it's awesome. In Aqualung, Martin Barre has started using some heavy distortion and he's doing a lot of Pinch Harmonics in the main riff, which is pretty unusal for him. Even if you dont get to watch the show for some reasons, at least copy this CD from any of show goers. It's only a Promo CD with the tickets and I dont think it's available in the stores.
when is the show ??
did anyone attend the Mumbai show??
Heard Alms for Shanti were not good
Tull show is on 3rd Feb (Friday)
Tull had a show in Bombay
and this one (in Bangalore) is their last in India.
Guess that just demonstrates that all the sponsors consider (and rightly so) only Bombay and Bangalore to be truly cosmopolitan. (except the stupid politicians who are bent on changing the names of every place on this country)
I work in a BPO ..... I guess dat makes it clear ...
Separate names with a comma.
