www.soundclick.com/saurabhvarma hey guys, really love the nat'l anthem -- a sweet sweet composition. so i figured i'd give it a whirl. i've never heard it with quite so many chords, so this is sort of my own rendition. e major seemed to be a good choice although i think g or a major would also be quite good. www.soundclick.com/saurabhvarma

hey sanju_strings, yes no offence bro and appreciate the patriotism. I know we can't fight with fellow country men when we are patriotic. just some fun. we both enjoy some fun and spam. like the spirit. I personally thought a bit of indianism is left only in NRIs. I won't be surprised if Varma is an NRI. Guess u r an NRI as well. friendly regards
hey, i am an nri. i was born in america. sadly, india is progressing towards a western state. but luckily, this is only on the surface. the rich values of spirituality, philosophy, love, music, and many more still remain untouched. i'm not sure if i'm that 'indian' persay. but i know that as a philosophy student, not even a few works can compare to the depth, brilliance, and pedagogy of vashista. i don't think any instrument can rival the emotional potential of a sitar -- and so on. i'm sorry i missed the 5th and 6th lines and that i sing soft like i haven't woken up. i thought a soft feel was nice for this song -- maybe i'll re-record soon. i usually only sing loud when it's a tenorish sound [high notes] like sublime's santeria which i do for acapella. peace, sv
