well the G#m is not in the actual song, Kumar sanu is prettly low pitch. A G# note is 2 steps up the E note so if you listen to the line, muskil pad jaye you will hear that he is actually going doing from the scale of first line jab koi baat instead of going up to G#m... Dont use that Bar C#m on the third fret which is a whole octave ahead, use the one that is in the same octave, here check the image, https://www.ezfolk.com/guitar/chords/C__Major/C_m/C_m.gif try playing it with the fingering on the left in first row.
