hey dude i know how to make chords. hey dude i know how to make chords.But dunno how n how long to strum.m n absolute novice.somebody plz help.
I am fairly new at guitaring and this is like the 3rd song I've learnt to play. I use the same chords posted above and they sound great. I only have one strumming pattern right now which I try to fit on every song but it fits really nicely on this one. It goes like D-DUD-DUD. Keep trying and you'll get it. - represents a miss stroke, like you don't strum on it, but make sure your hand keeps moving. like after the first down, make sure your hand is still moving like its playing the up stroke, but don't hit the strings. I had problem figuring out patterns until I first developed a continuous moving hand rhythem. Like at first I would stop after down and wait for the next down, that caused me a lot of trouble developing a consistent rhythem. Hopefully what I posted and learned from my own recent experience is somewhat helpful to you. Let me know. Goodluck!
