J&D Strat compares with the Gb&a strat/fat strat, Fender Squier ?

does any1 know does the J&D Strat compares with the Gb&a strat/fat strat, Fender Squier(the one in the combo pack) and the Behringer v-tone

ive heard bad things about the fender and behringer in most reviews so is the j&d better than them?

especially with aspect to tone & playability?

 

i use a gb&a fat strat and it just shows what value for money means
squires i don't like actually
haven't played on j&d

 

The Squires are cool. The problem with reviews is that the people writing them are mostly comparing the Squires with the original Strats.:shock:

 

so is it worth paying an extra 2-3k for the squier over j&d/behringer

The squires in the combo pack somehow seem to be of lesser quality than the Squire fat strats sold separately. U ought to try one of those b4 buying.

 

I have a squier standard strat and I have fit Lace Sensor Hot Gold Pickups and it sounds like a Dream. Think Dave Gilmour, Woman Tone and its all there.. It sounds better than American Strats I have seen and played but American Strats have some precision which these lack. Since you are anyway looking at low end guitars, think about Squier Standard Strat or the California Series. Dont go for the Beginner's Pack thing. Thats crap.

It cost me about $185 just for the pickups. I mean the price includes all 3 pickups.

 

whoops... thats 2 much 4me.... anyways thanx ronnie.... me wanted 2 buy that beginners pack... will not do now... think ill go for the california strat on bajaao
