    Helo all,

hi, i just started guitar few months back. When try to gain up the speed, my fretting hand starts paining. The pain is not like something permanent, it just happens when i try to gain the speed. i just play scales up and down till now and try to speed them up.. be it any scale , my hands starts paining around the 6th cycle(i cant play the scale more thn 6 times continuously and in contant speed(5 notes per second) ) as i try to speed up and i fail to continue further.. is it normal to have such a pain?

is the pain because of the low strength in my fretting hand?

Hope some one helps. and plz if someone can give me a real good exercise to get rid of this
    Thanx

Maybe its because your wrist is in a wrong position.
When you go down on the fretboard(Low E to High e)
Your thumb should go from down to up.
Your wrist should be erect when playing on the lower strings and let it down when playing higher strings.\

Can't say it properly here. Try Lick Library's Speed Soloing By Andy James
It helped me gain some speed and became relaxed by playing fast too.

  6. if you are a beginner, its probably because of the strain. it is normal, and is indication that your hands are growing because of the demand...
just like the pains when you start working out in a gym...
embrace the pain bro... success is just around the corner for you :)

When you can get it for free, why spend on it.
If its not available and its worth it, then why not.
