But worth reading if you wanna know how to sound like pro's.
That is, if you dont belong to a breed that thinks that get a Boss Gt-8 and you will sound like anyone.

He's actually realised that being PERFECT is'nt always a good thing. His latest album Bloom shows that he's being more spontaneous and loose which i love.

Other than being TOO perfect he's an absolute genius.

    Mind boggling.

To tell the truth, what a waste. All that gear and technique just for an album that took fking 9 years to make!! Especially an album that is not going to do well, seems so pointless.

^ Well guys like Eric Johnson would harldy care.

Remmeber he can always make a pop-number.
But even then he makes music that even so called Instrumental Rock listning poseurs havent heard.

    :phbbt:

Yaar, after reading his interview i think he does care. Anyways instrumental rock has been done to death. And with people like Yngwie ripping up the credibility of the genre, the future is bleak.

instrumental rock is not dying but people should really make songs which has good composition of notes and not just wah wah and fast reaping.

someday u'll understand that once u have achieved that credibility of perfectionist and u have financial liberties, then u want to make music that flows thru ur soul, then u can experiment and let the masses hear that sound without bothering the reviews associated with them...when u have passed the stage of using a couple of stomps and a processor, then u wud like to experiment with evrything perfect for that one single tone which we all wud like to copy from our mg10cd to an amazing rack setup's....

but yeah its one hellofa setup, no wonder he charges crores per show...(ek to jhonson baba uspe itna saman, baap re baap...)
