Is Bollywood running short of script??

well....it has always been running short when it comes to 'original ideas' there are very few film makers who really go ahead and implement them...

as we have seen a trend of copying English movies scene to scene...or getting 'influenced' by Hollywood....

now it seems that the trend has changed....'Remakes' are 'in' today....Don is going to release soon...then Sholay is in the Pipeline...news about "satte pe satta" are also roaming around...

what do you think is the future of such films???

There are always two side of a coin ….good and bad…try to think both ways…

+s: To me making something that has already been made to an extent can be a good idea cos u know the negative points of the previous movie and while making it again one can make sure to overcome those things…
Now as these are already Hits at their time…there is a curiosity too…so people might watch it just cos of curiosity…

-s : comparison is one thing that cannot b left unseen….people/media tend to compare the new version with the old one and most of the times they come out with the drawbacks….
As an audience we would want to see something “New”….

These are some points I could think of….might add few if my mind would start working :

 

Bollywood is sucking big time!

 

but we still watch hindi movies......

some times Horror movies...just to laugh...
comedy movies...to cry...

but the fact is...we do watch'em...

 

doing remakes of old movies is totally bad .it will reduce the little creativity that bollywood had.i think bollywood is running out of good scripts and not just scripts.

 

Thats why they continue making movies.

If you really hate it, stop watching these and start watching stuff which you think is better.

 

i personally dont think that Bollywood is a crap machine i do like watching some movies...but yeah most of them r not worth watching ....but its just my opinion...the same way u hv yours...and the same way others also hv their own opinion....ppl here mite agree with either me or you or to someone else here...but the fact remains the same that evry movie that is made has it own niche of ppl who wud watch it....evn the floppest of the flop movies wud b watched by many ppl...for different reasons....

otherws p.o.r.n sites, B or C grade movies wudnt hv been in business,,,,few ppl mite not watch such stuff....but when we look at a country as a whole...we have different ppl...with different taste and different opinion......

There are many indians who dont give a crap about hindi movies. Some guy said that RDB was the best movie that he'd seen in his life and that everyone should watch it. I did :-(

 

^^^LOL...we doesnt mean each and evry person in ths world...whn ever i say "we" it means "majoriy"....and yeah most of the ppl do hv their opinion placed smwhere near that level for RDB....but as i said....ppl r tend to think differently.....

Even I believe There is Immense talent in terms of acting and direction in India and if properly moulded can create a Gem of movies.

But such movies will eventually make the babuas go "Arey Eee to Art Philum hai, Hataao isey aur DDLJ chalao"

If they(Movie makers) are getting a lotta moolah without much input .. why would they bother working hard?
