Ipod Video or Photo

which files does the ipod video support?
and does the video recharge on a photo charger?

the ipod video supports only quicktime movie formats. there is a sw on the net which u can use to convert ur mpegs, avi to quicktime. Its 'videora'

hi guys . i have a video ipod but cant seem to import any photos onto it .if i try to it says all the earlier stored ones will be deleted .any solutions?

Different iPods have different solutions.

In mine i add it through the PC...it has a USB port.

So tell me the company and model of your iPod bro.

 

its apple. dont know the model .the latest one i guess bought it 2 months back. i too add through my pc with the usb port.

so u mean when u copy the file into your folder it gives an error That old ones will be deleted?

Well if i dint know anythn else i wud recommend u to take back up of all old ones.

Then copy old and new ones together.

Some iPods have a bug if the mp3 reaches more than 23 or somethn. My iPod has it.

1. It aint tiring if u first collect them in a folder and put them together into the iPod. Atleast ive done it many times...takes 5 min.

2. 23 files..my iPod is a video iPod with space of only 512 mb(i got it for Rs2000) lol. It works fine untill the mp3 files in the iPod exceed 23. The size of the video files are small too.

it is tiring bro .everytime u want to add a couple of pics u ll have to make a folder and then transfer and then agan. neways what kind of a video ipod has 512 mb . its useless.no wonder u got it for 2gs

 

hey the video files are only of 2-3 mb. I can have around 200 videos in the iPod.
Thats enuff for me atleast i dont listen to it so much.

Remember NEVER FORMAT to Fat 32 file type.

yea i like to call my mp4 player an iPod coz it looks like one and works like one too.

I can also play games on it and read books.

I have a tool known as MP3 Utilites 3.57 It converts any file into amv format makes its file size very small.

i use the same thing.....but sumtimes my mp4 player says format error....any idea how i can get around dat........wat i do is download vidz from youtube and then convert them into mpeg format and then into amv
