jus read an offer in TIMES MIRROR today..Ipod for RS.700...can trust these coz i recently got a handicam frm them..so those interested check the paper...offer is till 8 pm today.

 

damn it this is crap!!! wich ipod anyways?

if its shuffle then i aint interested

 

wht shuffle....i saw the offer in paper re..newayz they wont deliver to dubai..i guess its within india..

@abhi - yaar, it could be BIDDING starting price!i have seen ipod g5 bidding price of 5k in rediff!

 

g5 aint in the stores yet ^^^ .. (uk and usa)

wots the technical difference between all these types of iPod, like g1 g2 g3g4..... and shuffle nano stuff. I feel like a stupid guy askin this question, however i wud still be happy 2 know.

nano and shuffle are flash memory based players .. i.e limited emmory .. but shock proof and small in size ..
g1,g2,g3,g4 adn g5 are all hard disk based ipods .. now i dun know the difference between them as well .. but i think g1, g2 had b&w screens ... and i guess g3 had greyscale screen, g4 came with colour screen and g5 has large colour screen with video playback functionality ...
shuffle doesnt has any screen ..
but there must be other differences between the generations .. umm ..like chipsets and the software version
oh yeah just remembered ..some generations also differ in appearance .. some have buttons along the margin of clickwheel ..some have buttons for play pause rewind and menu .. on top of the clickwheel .and so on ..
