Hello all, Took a fun step forward and decided to become a member here. My background: - went through years of western classical flute training, but I gave it up a while back due to time constraints - know the very basics of a keyboard/piano - My passion has always been the guitar though. I started out playing my father's old classical guitar, playing various chord patterns and then I moved on to take the grade 3 western classical guitar exam. Since then though (almost a decade), I have just been playing for fun, graduating from dad's classical to my own acoustic electric. Had to set it aside for several years due to more time constraints, but I'm picking it back up. I recently heard songs by a Malayali band called Avial, which I found quite incredible. So my plan is to transcribe their song 'Njan Aara', followed by some of their others. I then intend to try transcribing some tracks by the fusion band Mrigya, from Delhi. Of course, all this will take a while but I really hope I can get them done. Best,
